What's New?
AMAC Referee and Tournament Administration Conference - May 17-18, 2008
ImageDear Referee Team, Participants, and Interested Parties:

All the preparations have been completed for the AMAC Referee and Tournament Administration Conference. It will be held the weekend of May 17-18, in the Cerritos/La Palma/Buena Park area.

This special event will be a significant opportunity rarely, if ever, experienced in American training. The goal of AMAC training is to provide those who must run competitive TKD events with the broadest skill set possible. Attendees can look forward to leaving the conference with the following skill enhancements:

  • Kyorugi officiating, including the option of USAT Certification
  • WTF competition Poomsae officiating
  • In-depth training on the RingMaster/TournamentMaster suite
  • Management of the competition area
  • Practical application of referee and tournament administration techniques

By far, the best benefit in attending the conference will be the opportunity to network with some of the top experts in the various fields of event support. Anyone who has been involved in the sport and martial art of TKD for any time at all will appreciate the prestigious list of special presenters. These include—Grandmasters Chan-Yong Kim and Nam-Ku Yun, Senior IR Greg Kailian, Masters Misha Thackrey and Noreen Thackrey, Master Jay Ferguson, and Prof. Robert W. Zambetti.

The AMAC welcomes you to join us for this most special event. The following link contains full details on the Conference www.americanmoodokwan.com/AMAC_conf_info.pdf Unfortunately, the number of attendees that we can support is limited, so please contact me as soon as possible to ensure that we reserve a spot for you. Of course, Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

P.S. The due date to pay AMAC Referee Training Program dues is March 31 which is Monday, but since this reminder is going out later than I anticipated, I will give you a "one-week grace period" to send in your dues, but please let me know ASAP that payment is coming so that I can properly prepare for them. Thanks :-)

P.P.S. The USAT has not yet provided me with the Referee Seminar Application. If you are interested in USAT Certification, please let me know and I will send you the application as soon as I get it. Otherwise, all other information is included in the link :-)

Very Best Regards,

Lisa S. Amsell
